~Cute Cute Cute doggies! You two are so sweet! Adorable!

~Nothing beats the feeling of hiking to the top and over looking your accomplishments with a gorgeous view!

The rainy weather is upon us and I am really starting to feel Summer drifting away. With this gloomy weather I will be hibernating indoors mostly, aside from the fact that I will be walking my baby doggie twice a day=)

What to do to keep my spirits up during rainy days……of course Eating, Shopping, Watching and Playing games!

Pigging out at Bellis Fair Food Court!=)

Went shopping down in the States for a day and couldn`t decide on one particular place..sooo brought a bunch of randoms. Oh I LOVE Clam Chowder from Ivars! Why don`t they come to Canada!

Taco Del Mar! Platter style

A couple  hours after lunch I was hungry again, so I refueled with 2 tacos, rice, beans and all the good fixings=) So much cheaper in the states!

Dutch Blitz: Best Game Ever!!

I was introduced to this game recently and fell in love ever since. I was lucky enough to borrow this card game and I have been playing lots! It can get competitive, so be aware! One of my dear friends said “its a card game on crack“ Yes it is..Yes it is!

Went to Whistler for the long weekend and did the Monkido Tree Course. There were 7 of us who participated and we all managed to finish the whole course. The Monkido course consists of different obstacles from climbing, zip-lining, swinging logs and even suspended bridges. This aerial tree course is suspended from 10-80 feet of the ground. So if you are afraid of heights than I wouldn’t recommend this activity. However, you are strapped to a life line.

The suggested course time was 1.5 – 2 hours. But it took our group close to 4 hours to complete the full course, including waiting time. It starts off with easier obstacles and becomes increasingly difficult. There were definitely a few obstacles that needed endurance and strong upper body strength. I certainly had to conquer some fears and I’m glad I did!

For only $50, it was definitely worth it!

My first Sparkles of Happiness Project post! Here we go!

*Played awesome baby shower games like: Guess the poppy chocolate, and Pin The Sperm on the Egg! Good job game planner!

*Reading “I Don’t Know What I Want, But I know It’s Not This”. A book from a great friend. Thank you for your words of encouragement and love!

*Lady Gaga concert and it was GAGALICIOUS!!!

*Best POT LUCK ever!!! With Peking Duck, Lettuce Wrap, Clams in Black Bean Sauce, Malay Noodles, Fried Rice and Fruit Shaved Ice. It was sooo delicious!! Great food and great company. What else can I ask for?

*Using leftovers from the pot luck and made a special noodles in soup! My very own creation! Proud of myself=)

Happiness can be very simple at times. Food, love and great company is sometimes all we need. However, it is easy to desire more. More than we need and more than we want. Remember the little things………………….these are my sparkles.

Welcome back to me!

I have finally settled in and feel rejuvenated now that I am back on the west coast! Being in Korea feels like a random dream. It is always like that for me. Anytime that I come back from a long-term trip, I feel as if I have never left. This sensation can be regarded as positive and boring. Positive in a sense that I haven’t missed out on much and boring cause things never seem to change. Nevertheless, I am very glad to be back home with my dearest friends and loved ones!

Being away and coming home has really changed my perspective of life and one’s happiness. I have come to realize that happiness doesn’t come in one particular form but through many different outlets. Sometimes it’s one big happy event and other times it can be unrecognized. Certain events that occurred in Korea made me realize that happiness can’t be obtained at once but instead through little sparkles.

I have decided to start The Sparkles of Happiness Project where on a weekly basis I will post things that I have actively done or participated in that I feel is making me happy or giving my life sparkles. A lot of times, being happy can be measured by the happiness you bring to others….=)

I will also update and  keep up with my yummy yummy food posts! Because you know I have been eating lots of good food! I will also update more frequently=)…promise!

Officially Welcoming you back!
